Thasang Rural Municipality is situated at south part of Mustangi district, Gandaki province. This Rural Municipality was established in 2073 B.S. This Rural Municipality is surrounded by Manang district from east, Dolpa district from west, Baragang Muktichhetra and Gharapjong Rural Municipality from north and Myagdi district from south.
