The Rural municipality has total area of 89square kilo meter and is divided into 9wards. Ramechhap districtlies in the east of Temal rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Namobudha municipalityin the west,Chaurideurali rural municipalityin the north and Rosi rural municipalityin the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes steeply hills mountains, and cold weather. Temal rural municipality has the total population of 22716consisting male population 10583and female population of 12133as of Census of Nepal 2011.
