Tadi  rural municipalitysituatesnorthenpart of the Nuwakot district.Tadi  rural municipalitywas formed by combining then Kharanitar, Ralukadevi, Urleni, Sundaradevi, and Narjamandab VDCs. The Rural municipality has total area of 69.79square kilo meter and is divided into 6wards. Dupcheshwar rural municipality and Langtang National parklies in the east of Tadi  rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Suryangadhi rural municipalityin the west,Rasuwa districtin the north and Panchakanya rural municipalityin the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes steeply hills mountains, and cold weather. Tadi  rural municipality has the total population of 17932consisting male population 8977and female population of 8955as of Census of Nepal 2011. There are 3582households in Tadi  rural municipality.

The name ‘Taadi’ is kept after the name of beautiful ‘Taadi’ river. Beautiful mountain view, sunrise view, dense forest, etc. are tourist favored destination of this rural municipality. Tamang, Ghale, Brahamin. Kshetri, Sherpa, Newar, etc. are the major ethnic group of this rural municipality. Agriculture and tourism are the major source of income of this rural municipality. People do agriculture and livestock farming as their major economic activities. Hindu, Budhhist, Cristian are major religions of this rural municipality.

Mr. Narayan Prasad Pandey and Mrs. Ishori Upretiare the chairman and vice chairman of the Tadi  rural municipality. The rural municipality office is situated in Kharanitar Nuwakot.
