The Rural municipality has total area of 106.09square kilo meter and is divided into 7wards. Galchhi rural municipality and Nilakantha municipalitylies in the east of Siddalake rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Gorkha districtin the west,Jwalamukhi rural municipality and Nilakantha rural municipalityin the north and Benighat rorang rural municipality and Gajuri rural municipalityin the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes naturally decorated high hills mountains, and cold weather. Siddalake rural municipality has the total population of 23729 consisting male population 10965and female population of 12764as of Census of Nepal 2011. There are 5138households in Siddalake rural municipality.
The name of this rural municipality is based upon the famous Siddhababa Temple. People like Brhaman, Chhetri, Gurung, Shrestha, Tamang, Lama, Nepali, Kaami, Damai, Magar etc. resides in this rural municipality. And they celebrate the festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Nauratha, Ramnawami, Teej, Buddha Purnima, Tamu Losar, Losar, Christmas Day etc.The main source of income of people of this rural municipality is agriculture, businesses, foreign employment, government job etc.
