Rosi rural municipalitysituateseasternpart of the Kavreplanchowk district.Rosi rural municipalitywas formed by combining then Katunjebesi, Kharpachowk, Mangaltar, Baltinga, Bhimpokhari, Sipalichilaune, Khaharepangu, Shikharaambote, Mahadevtar, and Shisakhani VDCs. The Rural municipality has total area of 176square kilo meter and is divided into 12wards. Sindhuli districtlies in the east of Rosi rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Bethanchowk rural municipalityin the west,Namobudhha municipality and Temal rural municipalityin the north and Khanikhola rural municipality and Mahabharat rural municipalityin the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes steeply hills mountains, and cold weather. Rosi rural municipality has the total population of 28746 consisting male population 13531and female population of 15215as of Census of Nepal 2011. There are 5896 households in Rosi rural municipality.
