Rambha rural municipality is situated in the northern part of the Palpa district. Adjoining areas of VDCs such as Hungi, Heklang, phoksingkot, Pipaldanda, Humin and Tanhu, were combined in Rambha rural municipality. The Rural municipality has total area of 94.120000000000005 square kilometres and is divided into 5 wards. Rampur municipality and Rambha rural municipality lies in the east of Rambha rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Bagnaskali rural municipality in the west, Kaligandaki river in the north and Mathagadhi rural municipality in the south. The geography of this rural municipality is composed of steep slopes and high mountain. Rambha rural municipality has the total population of the municipality is 20190 consisting male population 8452 and female population of 11738 according to the population census of Nepal 2011. There are 4626 households in Rambha rural municipality.

The Kali Gadaki River flow northern part of this rural municipality. In the eastern part of this rural municipality, there lies a Rambha Devi Temple and the name of this rural municipality is based considering that temple. Magar, Brahaman, Kaami, Chhetri, Kumal, Sarki, Damai, Newar, Gharti, Dasnami etc reside in this rural municipality. The main source of income of this rural municipality is agriculture, livestock, private/government job & foreign employment. In these days people also engaged in harvesting many cash crops like vegetables, mushroom, livestock, etc. Festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Magheshakranti, Ramnawami, Chaitedashain, Baishakha Purnima, Teej, Janaipurnimaetc are celebrated in this rural municipality.

Mr. Bishnu prasad Bhandari and Mrs. Radha Kumari Shrestha are the chairman and vice chairman of the Rambha rural municipality. The rural municipality office is situated in Pipaldanda, Palpa.
