Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality is situated in the southern part of the Palpa district. Adjoining areas of VDCs such as Siddheshor, Somadi, Bhuwan Pokhari, Chhahara, Mujhun, Juthapauwa, Baldhengadhi and Satyawati, were combined in Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality. The Rural municipality has total area of 175.88 square kilometres and is divided into 8 wards. Ribdikot and Tinau rural municipality lies in the east of Rainadevi Chhahara rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Arghakhachi district in the west, Gulmi district in the north and Rupandehi district in the south. The geography of this rural municipality is composed of steep slopes and high mountain.
