Raghu Ganga Rural Municipality is situated at mid part of Myagdi district, Gandaki province. This Rural Municipality was established in 2073 B.S. It combines then Beg Khola, Rakhu Bhagwati, Rakhu Piple, Dagnaam, Jhnee, Pakhapani, Chimkhola and Chuine Mangale Village Development Committees. This Rural Municipality is surrounded by Mustang district and Annapurna Rural Municipality from east, Dhawalagiri and Malika Rural Municipalities from west, Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality and Mustang district from north and Parbat district, Mangala Rural Municipality and Beni Municipality from south. This local unit is divided into 8 wards.

Population of Raghu Ganga Rural Municipality is 15,753 covering 4,098 households as per the census 2011. Male to female ratio is 77.55.  Ward number three is most populated ward.
