Purbichauki Rural Municipality is situated at mid-east part of Doti district, Sudur Paschim province. This Rural Municipality was established in 2073 B.S. by combining then Khirsain, Gairagaaun, Kadamandou, Pokhari and Ganjari Village Development Committees. This is surrounded by Achham district at east and south, Dipayal Silgadhi at west and Khaptad National Park at north. It is divided into seven wards.
