The Rural municipality has total area of 181.78square kilo meter and is divided into 5wards. Nuwakot districtlies in the east of Netrawati Dabjong rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Tripura sundari rural municipalityin the west,khaniyabas rural municipality and Gangajamuna rural municipalityin the north and Nilkantha municipalityin the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes naturally decorated high hills mountains, and cold weather. Netrawati Dabjong rural municipality has the total population of 12870consisting male population 5603and female population of 7267as of Census of Nepal 2011. There are 3121households in Netrawati Dabjong rural municipality.

The name of this rural municipality is based by combining the ancient Waiwa king’s palace Dabjong&Netrawati river flows from the Marpak valley. Brahaman, Chhetri, Gurung, Shrestha, Tamang, Lama, Nepali, Kaami, Damai, Magar etc. resides in this rural municipality and they celebrate the festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Nauratha, Ramnawami, Teej, Buddha Purnima, Tamu Losar, Losar, Christmas Day etc. The famous religious BindukeshwarMahadevsthan, Kundala Devi Mandir, Barahi Mandir etc are situated in this rural municipality.

Mr. Durga Kurmar Shakya and Mrs. Urmila Tamang Gurungare the chairman and vice chairman of the Netrawati Dabjong rural municipality. The rural municipality office is situated in Semjong, Dhading.
