Naumule rural municipality is situated in the north-east part of the Dailekh district. VDCs such as Toli, Baluwatar, Dwari, Kalika, Naumule, Salleri, and Chaurath, were combined in Naumule rural municipality. The Rural municipality has total area of 228.59 square kilo meter and is divided into 8 wards. Jajarkot district lies in the east of Naumule rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Mahabu rural municipality, Narayan municipality in the west, Kalikot district in the north and Narayan municipality and Bhagawatimai rural municipality in the south. The geography of this rural municipality steeply and high mountain and cold weather. Naumule rural municipality has the total population of the municipality is 20802 consisting male population 10045 and female population of 10757 according to the population Census of Nepal 2011. There are 3708 households in Naumule rural municipality.
The central of this rural municipality is Naumule Bazar. There resides Hindus & Buddhists in this rural municipality. Brahmin, Chhetri, Dalit, Janajatietc are major caste and ethnic groups residing in this rural municipality and celebrates Dashain, Tihar, Magheshakranti, Ramnawami, Baishakepurnima, Janaipurnima, Teej, Holi, Loshar etc. festivals in a friendly manner. Majority of peopleof this rural municipality are engaged in agriculture & livestock farming too. The atmosphere & climate of this rural municipality is healthy & good. Paddy, Wheat, Corn, Maize and various cash crops are the main agro product of this rural municipality. The historic & ancient Dwarikhola, Naumule area etc lies in this rural municipality.
Mr. Bhade Budha Magar and Mrs. Amrita Singh are the chairman and vice chairman of the Naumule rural municipality. The rural municipality office is situated in Naumule, Dailekh.
