The geographical area of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality is 146.41 sq km. It has a population of 21082 according to census 2011. This rural municipality has nine wards. It was formed by merging eight former VDCs. It is surrounded by Khotang district in the east and Sunkoshi gaunpalika in the west and Siddhicharan municipality in the north and Udaypur and Khotang districts in the south. The headquarter of this municipality is situated in ward 5, Manebhanjyang.

In terms of infrastructure in the region this rural municipality stands high among all the rural municipalities in Okhaldhunga district. It has two higher secondary level schools and one college for under graduation level studies. Other facilities here are eight health post spreading in each wards, agriculture and livestock service centers, forest range post to name.

The Chairperson and Vice chairperson this rural municipality are Motiraj Rai and Sabita Rai respectively.
