The geographical area of Kerabari Rural Municipality is 219.83 sq km. It has a population of 30431 according to census 2011. This rural municipality has 10 wards. It was formed by merging four former VDCs and one ward of a municipality. It is surrounded by Letang municipality in the east and Sunsari district in the west and Dhankuta district in the north and Sundarharaicha municipality in the south. The headquarter of this municipality is situated in kerabari itself.
