Gajuri rural municipality is situated in the southernpart of the Dhading district. Gajuri rural municipalitywas formed by combining then Gajuri, Pidha and Kiranchowk VDCs. The Rural municipality has total area of 138.66square kilo meter and is divided into 8wards. Galchilies in the east of Gajuri rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Benighat Rorang rural municipalityin the west, Siddhalek rural municipality in the north and Makawanpur district in the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes naturally decorated high hills mountains, and cold weather. Gajuri rural municipality has the total population of 27084 consisting male population 13311and female population of 13773as of Census of Nepal 2011. There are 5600households in Gajuri rural municipality. Brahaman, Chhetri, Gurung, Shrestha, Nepali, Kaami, Damai, Magar etc. reside in this rural municipality. The major language of this rural municipality is Nepali, Tamang, Magar etc. Hindu, Buddist, Cristian, etc are the major religions of this rural municipality. Lohosar, Dashain, Tihar, Teej, Buddha Jayanti, Christmas, etc are the major festivals celebrated in this rural municipality. Agriculture, livestock farming, trade are major source of income of the people of this rural municipality. Nowadays, foreign employment and employment in nearest district is also the source of income.
