Chaurideurali rural municipality situates in the eastern part of the Kavreplanchowk district. Chaurideurali rural municipalitywas formed by combining then Sanobangathali, Nagnegarche, Majhifeda, Dhusenishivalaya, Pokharichauri, Kattikedurali, Madankudari, Birtadeurali, and Gothapani VDCs. The Rural municipality has total area of 98square kilo meter and is divided into 9wards. Ramechhap districtlies in the east of Chaurideurali rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Bhumlu rural municipality in the west, Sindhupalchowk district in the north and Temal rural municipality in the south. The geography of this Rural municipality includes steeply hills mountains, and cold weather. Chaurideurali rural municipality has the total population of  20829consisting male population 9468and female population of 11361as of Census of Nepal 2011. There are 4664households in Chaurideurali rural municipality.

Major ethnic group is Tamang followed by Brahamin, Chhetri, Newar, Dalit and marginalized group Majhi. Hindu and Buddhist are major religion of this rural municipality. People do agriculture, livestock farming, tourism, and herbs collection as the major source of income. Lohasar, Buddha Jayanti, Loahsar, Dashain, Tihar, etc are the major festival of this rural municipality.

Mr. Dinnath Gautam and Mrs. Tara Kumari Chaulagainare the chairman and vice chairman of the Chaurideurali rural municipality. The rural municipality office is situated in Dhandkharka, Kavreplanchowk.
