Bhume rural municipality is situated in the southern part of the Rukum district. Then VDCs, Kakri, Morawang, Mahat, Kanda, Chunwang and Rukumkot, were combined in Bhume rural municipality. The Rural municipality has total area of 273.67 square kilometers and is divided into 9 wards. Baglung district lies in the east of Bhume rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Sisne rural municipality and Musikot municipality in the west, Putha Uttara rural municipality in the north and Rolpa district in the south.
