Bhairavi rural municipality is situated in the northen part of the Dailekh district. VDCs such as Bhairikalikathum, Kusapani, Rawatkot, Kansigadh (9), and Dullu municipality (10), were combined in Bhairavi rural municipality. The Rural municipality has total area of 110.45 square kilo meter and is divided into 7 wards. Mahabu rural municipality lies in the east of Bhairavi rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Chamunda bindrasaini municipality, Thantikadh rural municipality in the west, Kalikot district in the north and Dullu municipality in the south.
