Bangalachuli rural municipality is located in the eastern part of the Dang district. VDCs such as Siuja, kavre, Loharpani and Hansipur, were combined in Bangalachuli rural municipality. The Rural municipality has total area of 245.94 square kilometers and is divided into 8 wards. Pyuthan district lies in the east of Bangalachuli rural municipality. Similarly, this rural municipality is surrounded by Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitian city in the west, Pyuthan and Rolpa district in the north and Lamahi municipality and Rapti rural municipality in the south. The geography of this rural municipality includes plan fertile land. Bangalachuli rural municipality has the total population of the municipality is 24245 consisting male population 10879 and female population of 13366 according to the National Population census of Nepal 2011. There are 4730 households in Bangalachuli rural municipality.

Tharu ethnic groups are in majority in this rural municipality and followed by Chhetri, Brahaman, Dalit, Muslim etc. Dashain, Tihar, Janaipurnima, Chandi Purnima, Buddhajayanti, Maghesarankti, Holi, Eid, Chhathaetc festivals in a friendly manner. Awadhi, Tharu, Nepali are the most spoken languages of this rural municipality. Paddy, Wheat, Corn, Mustard, Grain and various cash crops also harvest in this rural municipality. People of this rural municipality also engaged in livestock business also and some are in abroad for foreign employment also.

Mr. Bhakta Bahadur Oli and Mrs. Yamuna Thapa Magar are the chairman and vice chairman of the Bangalachuli rural municipality. The rural municipality office is situated in Kamirechaur, Dang.
